Ministry of Finance vide its press release has extended due date for filing GSTR 9 and 9C for F.Y. 2017-18 upto 31.12.2019 and the due date for F.Y. 2018-19 upto 31.03.2020.
In the press release they have even mentioned that GSTR 9 and 9C have been simplified by removing certain conditions from the Form and they expect this will make it easy for many people to file the annual return.
