Becoming a Chartered Accountant is a big dream for many people and then using the prefix CA with one’s name is a pride.

Also, many people dream of putting the sticker of “CA” on their vehicle like how doctors put the symbol of cross, but we really don’t know how we can get that officially.

ICAI offers a facility for it’s members where they can get these stickers right at their home. You can read more amount the whole procedure below where you just need to fill a simple Form to get the sticker:

“You will appreciate that brand image is the sine-qua-non for every profession.  Today, Chartered Accountants globally are looked up for not only their professional acumen in financial matters, but also for their keen business sense.  A good Chartered Accountant propels the business of his employer and clients, besides being law compliant.  It is indeed a matter of pride for anyone to be known as a Chartered Accountant.

Most professionals around the globe use a prefix to display the qualification that they possess e.g. “Dr.” for a medical practitioner, “Er.” for an engineer, etc.  Keeping the above in view, the Council of ICAI had taken a decision in the year 2005 that all members of the ICAI should use the prefix “CA.” to their name in their letterheads, visiting cards and all their professional and personal communications and stationery, so that the members make it known to the world that they represent the profession of Chartered Accountants.

In order to promote the brand of your CA profession and responding to the long felt need to have a symbol of CA profession in India, the Council of ICAI had come out with an artistically designed logo to display the dynamism of the profession in modern times.  The CA logo encapsulates the current beliefs, attitudes and values of the profession, and seeks to enhance the identity of members.  The CA logo is unique to the profession of Chartered Accountants and conveys what the profession stands for in terms of creativity, innovativeness, knowledge, integrity, trust, truth, stability and depth.  Accordingly, keeping in line with the prefix “CA.”, the Council came out with the following logo to be used by all members of the Institute in their professional letterheads, visiting cards, personal communications and stationery.

The upside down tick mark, typically used by Chartered Accountants, symbolises the wisdom and value of the profession. The green colour in the tick mark signifies growth, prosperity, harmony and freshness.

It is my pleasure to request you to always use the prefix, “CA.” to your name, and also proudly display the attached sticker on your vehicle.  In case you need a sticker, please click on the link given below and submit your particulars and we will be glad to send you one sticker. Members already made the request for sticker are requested not to apply again.

Thus, using the above link and by filling the Form provided in the above link you can get your CA sticker.
