In a recent FAQ released by ICAI regarding UDIN we had seen that it was mentioned by ICAI that a member is not authorized to certify ITR V as true copy. However they can issue a certificate stating the authenticity of source, location etc.
However many people were not satisfied with such reply and even commented that there is a difference between certification of ITR V as true copy and certifying ITR V for loan purpose. But we won’t get into that debate, because as per ICAI they have made it clear what kind of certificate one should issue for loan purpose as the question was directly linked to issuing certificate for loan purpose and such situation is being faced by many of us on daily basis. Many of us think how to deal with such situation as bank is constantly asking for CA certified documents and thus in this post I am posting a sample format in which you can issue certificate to your client for loan purpose and same should be issued to bank.
If there will be a unity in the professionals and almost everyone uses the same format may be than bank might stop asking extra things from our client and we could do our work easily, as in this difficult times where CA are being charged for various action of their client it would be better if we have some unity.
