The New e-filing website i.e. E-filing 2.0 was made live on 07.06.2021 and from that day we have been facing multiple issues on the website and since the old website also cannot be used now people are facing many issues. Some of which are listed below:

E-filing website not working on first day: https://www.taxontips.com/income-tax-e-filing-2-0-not-working-properly-on-its-first-day-response-of-nirmala-sitharam-and-infosys-head-on-same/

Professionals not able to file any Form online: https://www.taxontips.com/ca-professionals-not-getting-an-option-to-file-any-form-on-the-new-e-filing-website-e-filing-2-0/

Around 20 issues in the new e-filing portal: https://www.taxontips.com/around-20-issues-faced-by-taxpayers-and-professionals-on-the-new-e-filing-portal-e-filing-2-0/

Manual filing of Form 15CB till 30.06.2021: https://www.taxontips.com/relaxation-in-online-filing-of-form-15ca-and-15cb-till-30-06-2021-press-release/

Although now majority people are able to login into the new e-filing portal but people are still not able to easily access any Forms or file their Income tax return further they are even not able to download the Income tax return acknowledgement even for earlier years.

Now people are wondering who are these 1 lakh people who have filed their income tax return as was mentioned by Infosys in their AGM.

Finance ministry has also addressed this issue and there will be a meeting on this issue with the Infosys team for which Ministry of Finance had invited written representation from people so let’s see what outcome we get from this meeting.

We are also running a hashtag #reviveoldefilingwebsite as we don’t know why new website was launched with so many errors when there was no issue with old website.

So you can visit our twitter, instagram and youtube and help us spread this hashtag.

To watch the relevant video from AGM you can visit our Youtube Channel.

I am not able to login to the new e-filing site (TAX DEDUCTOR & COLLECTOR) for some units of my company
I had already registered the DSC in this site, but now when I am trying to login after reaching the last stage i.e “sign”
after giving the DSC pwd. after some time the screen is diverted to home page but with only the blue portion where the details of the portal is given – CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER.

I am representative of my company and filing returns under TAN- 20 units . I was able to register all the DSCs
and submitted forms (24q and 26Q) for 9 units – Which was SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY as the message displayed and downloaded the acknowledgement but the Acknowledgement does not reflect the Quarter, FY and AY.
The option View filed forms did not show this 9 forms as filed. For the last 5 days I am not even able to file the returns – A message pops up when proceeding with the e-verification- “Some thing went wrong please try after some time” . When contacted the department over phone – they said wait for some time . It is already 22nd . Cany any one guide me

      Hello,

How did you sign in with DSC?
You must be signing in with TAN number and password.
There have been issues that people have been facing while filing return on e-filing portal even for 4th quarter wherein people were complaining that their return was rejected

Hence, it is advisable to file TDS return via some NSDL agent who are authorized to file such return.
